Muayad Alayan is a Palestinian director- director of photography based in Jerusalem. His first short film “Lesh Sabreen?” has been awarded and officially selected at over 60 film festivals around the world including Clermont Ferrand Intl Film Fest, Aspen Shortfest, Palm Springs Intl Film Fest, Dubai International Film Festival, and others. His Recent Environmental Documentary ‘Sacred Stones’ won Best Medium Length Documentary at Aljazeera International Film
Alayan is also an instructor at Dar Al Kalima College in Bethlehem teaching filmmaking and cinematography.

Film Maker and Script Writer

Rami Alayan is a Palestinian screenwriter and interaction designer living in San Francisco. Rami is the co-writer and co-producer of the award winning short film Lesh Sabreen by Muayad Alayan. Rami's other writing credits include "If You Were in My Shoes", the first interactive TV sitcom in Palestine dealing with gender equality issues produced by the Bethlehem Media Center. Rami is also the writer of Tamer and Hanan, an animated series aiming to educate children about concepts of democracy and individual rights. Private Sun is Rami's first directed film. 

Rami holds bachelors and master degrees in computer engineering and management from MIT as well as a certificate of feature film writing from UCLA Extension School. 

Filmmaker and Editor

Sameer Qumsiyeh is a filmmaker based in Beit Sahour. Graduate of the documentary film department at Dar Al Kalima College. Apart from directing his own short and documentaries, Sameer has worked as a freelance editor and assistant director on several documentary and fiction film productions in Palestine.



Khader Zeidan has worked as a lighting technician at different Palestinian theaters including Alqasaba and Al Harra theaters. He also worked as gaffer on film and TV productions. Khader is a coordinator at the Beit Jala scout and the leader of its climbing team.


A Palestinian multi-instrumentalist who was born in May 15, 1986 in Kuwait. Growing up, he developed a love for different musical genres especially Ethnic, Classical, Jazz, and Contemporary music. By the age of 11 he started to play the Piano and the Transverse Flute. He performed in many International festivals with different bands as a Bass, Guitar, or Oud player. After his graduation from The National Conservatory of Music in Bethlehem, he worked as a music instructor in The Dhow Countries Academy of Zanzibar/Africa for two years. Charlie composed musical soundtracks for local and international movies and now he is working as a music teacher in various institutions, and as a music arranger in some studios.

Filmmaker and Actor

Jibat’s introduction to the world of cinema began during his senior year in high school in a film course titled I am, You Are at Jerusalem Cinematheque which focused on the production of film. From there, Jibat took a keen interest in cinema and studied filmmaking at Dar al Kalima College in Bethlehem.

Osama Jibat made his first short film in 2009 titled “A Tale of Existence” which focuses on homosexuals in Jerusalem, a very controversial topic in the region.

Aside from his role as an upcoming director, Jibat has also acted in various short films. He played the lead role in the internationally acclaimed short film “Lesh Sabreen?” by director Muayad Alayan.


Munjid Kharoufeh is a freelance filmmaker and phototgrapher. He worked as a Media trainer at Bethlehem Unviersity. His photography work ranges from news, institutional events, and documentation photography. He finished his film studies at Dar Al Kalima College and Holds a Bachelor degree from Bethlehem
